Well the staff thought not so fast John Esther!! Just another couple of nights. John spiked a fever that they think maybe from the Dilantin. However, Antibiotics and cultures started just to cover all bases!! We are doing great. John is still speed walking and making friends on the way. Kids are doing great thanks to friends annd family!! We are still on target for our homecoming tues after consultation with the best of the best @ M D Anderson to plan our Chemo/Radiation attack. Nadia Cavner is coming by plane to get the remaining Esther Clan. What a blessing!!! Keep locked on target with the prayers. God is good!!John's #1 awesome nurse,Carol

John, never blogged before--hope this works. Have been following your success. Enjoyed meeting your other element. Praying for the resolution of your fever. (wind, water, wound) Expand those lungs. Looking forward to your arrival home. Will have a new schedule to proof in a week or two.

We're not letting you out of our sights, John, Carol and family. The progress is obvious, for which we praise the Lord, but with each day's triumphs, we will lay the foundation for the long-term recovery through prayer and faith in the purposes God has in store for you, John. You're in the best of hands--Doctors and good nurse, Carol--and we're here cheering you on! God bless you with no fever and growing strength.

Have faith in God, He is on His throne!

Hey there J. Willie! Wow, we knew you were amazing, what a way to prove it. I can't tell you how much you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We were so happy to hear you would be back in Springfield next week. You behave yourself and listen to that beautiful nurse wife of yours. You are continually on our minds, much love and hope, Shannen

John & Carol,

We ran across this video clip by Louie Giglio and knew that God wanted to use it as an encouragement to you. It has an amazing ending and shows how God is at work in EVERY molecule in your body, John. You are in our every prayer.
