After a courageous battle fought by our dear friend John Esther, he has passed from this life into eternity this evening, surrounded by his family. Please pray for his family as they process through this, and make adjustments in the days and months to come. Surround them with your love and encouragement.

How to help the Esther family now!!!

As Christmas approaches and the New Year draws near, the Esther family appreciates your prayers for God's power to touch John and the whole family, peace to fill their hearts, love to surround them. Please contact Carol to visit, if she doesn't respond, know it's just not a good time. Please keep visits brief , knowing John needs rest, and the family needs normalcy! Meals not needed at this time! Carol is cooking her amazing meals that the family loves!! Notes of encouragement to all would be nice! If you would like to purchase anything for them: gas cards for the drivers, walmart giftcards, pricecutter gift cards,panera, andys.... Keep them in your prayers! xoxo

Please pray for the Esther family while they spend family time together this summer. Pray for health for John: all cell counts in good range, continued control of leg seizures, that chemo would continue to kill the bad cells and that the Lord would protect the good cells., safety for all, protection over Carol as she drives and works, protection over kids as they spend their summer with friends and family. Joy, unity in marriage, peace in home, wisdom for all decisions to be made in all areas, and love! THANK YOU!!!

Maddy has graduated! Windsor is home from college! Joe and Liza are out of school! John continues to do well. Please pray against seizure activity in his left foot. Pray for all cell counts to be normal, and for all the good cells to be protected as he gets chemo. Pray that the chemo will continue to kill all the bad cells. Peace, joy, protection for the family. That this summer will be full of smiles, connection, and love as the family spends time together. THANK YOU!!!

John continues to get his chemo treatment, and just came back from a trip to Duke U. med ctr, where the Dr.s said his latest scan looks good! Please pray against tingling in extremities, which come and go, and against side effects of chemo on all body functions. THANK YOU!!

Windsor is off to Ole Miss and the school year is in full swing!
Windsor is thriving! Ole Miss is a perfect fit. He is spending a lot of time studying! We experience the "Grove" tailgating mayhem during family weekend!
Maddy is in her senior year and starting her college application process! John said we will visit when she narrows it down to her top 10!
Joe is fully recovered from the broken jaw and gets to play his first soccer game this weekend after spending a lot of time on the bench recovering!
Eliza is working hard and loving all the "one on one" with her daddy during homework time!
Most importantly, "To God be the Glory"! This is our family motto! John continues to tolerate his new chemo protocol with supernatural strength and deliverance! He received chem last weds. and biked 25 miles Thurs! No signs of tumor recurrence!
Here at the Esther home we continue to give all the glory to God that we have no fear!
Please continue to lift us up in prayer, this is where we place our hope and trust!!
